- Get a signed contract, set a closing date, hire a lawyer to process the transaction paperwork.
- Now begins the task list for moving! And all of the post-closing tasks, like coordinating the handover of the keys and final documents. Remember, the new owners will want vacant possession (no stuff left behind). And they will want a clean home to move into.
